Kent Avenue Works Yard
Location: Vancouver , B.C.
Client: City of Vancouver
Objective: To negotiate and obtain authorization from the various Fraser River estuary authorities to redevelop the site for public works purposes.
Role: As a senior land development consultant with Moodie Consultants Ltd., Steve Zuliani served as the lead consultant and project manager of 3 specialty consultant firms to achieve the objectives.
Result: After determining the site constraints and required alterations along the shoreline and in the intertidal zones, the required approvals were negotiated with the appropriate authorities. This involved some creative alternatives to satisfy the standard regulations. The approvals were received and the redevelopment is currently being carried out in phases.
